We are now looking for you who want to take a key responsibility for data and BI and contribute to better decisions, stronger customer experiences, and continued growth for our Synsam Lifestyle.

About the role

As a Data and BI Specialist for Synsam Lifestyle, you will be a central part of the business development team and work closely with both business and development. You have a clear technical responsibility for how our BI landscape is built, used, and developed over time. You have a great opportunity to influence both technical choices, working methods, and how data is used in decision-making within the Lifestyle business.

Together, you deliver solutions that the business and users benefit from. We operate in the four Nordic markets, and in your role, you will build a strong network with our business units.

Your main responsibilities

• Work hands-on with data modeling and structuring to create reliable data for analysis

• Lead and drive the development of our data warehouse and BI solutions

• Be involved in identifying and solving new business needs for data visualization and reporting together with your closest team (e.g., within subscription growth, churn, and customer behaviors)

• Develop and maintain reports and dashboards used by both the business unit and management

• Define requirements and develop data models in consultation with technical product owners and architects

Your profile

You are technically curious, analytical, and enjoy working through the entire BI chain from data structure to visualization. You are comfortable in a hands-on role where you take responsibility for both structure and solution, and you have the ability to navigate complex data environments.

You are unpretentious and solution-oriented, with good experience in SQL and data modeling. At the same time, you are communicative and collaborative, and you find it easy to translate technical solutions into business value in dialogue with both developers and the business.

Experience

To succeed in the role, we believe you have:

• A university or college degree in data, information systems, or equivalent

• Several years of experience working with data warehouses, data modeling, and business intelligence

• Very good knowledge of SQL and experience working with large datasets and complex data models

• Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Snowflake or Databricks) and BI tools such as Qlik Cloud, Power BI, or Tableau is a plus

About the position

You will report to Fredrik Arve, Head of Subscription Sales Development, and the position is based at our headquarters on S:t Eriksgatan in central Stockholm. The position is a permanent full-time employment, with immediate start (according to agreement).
